Ibagué was ratified as the venue for the 2024 Pan American Roller Skating Championships, news that began to take shape in February, when the city received the endorsement of ‘World Skate America’, an international organization for this discipline.

This Pan American Skating Championship joins the recent World Figure Skating Championship held in 2023which had 28 delegations and that during the 12 days of competition brought together more than 60 thousand spectators at the Coliseo Mayor, showing the hospitality of the Ibaguereños and the great organization of it.
