Independent publishers from Cordoba will be at the Buenos Aires Book Fair

From April 25 to May 13, the Córdoba Culture Agency will be present at the 48th edition of the Buenos Aires International Book Fairthrough the Letters and Libraries Subdirectoratewith an institutional stand.

Inside of the Ocher Pavilionthe Province will exhibit, promote and sell the publications of the Letras y Bibliotecas Publishing House, the winning works of the provincial literary contests and awards and the proposals of Córdoba publishers that do not have the possibility of accessing this great event.

In this framework, May 3 will be the Cordoba Day will take place at the institutional stand tribute to Leopoldo Lugones.

The event takes place in the La Rural Fairgrounds.

In the field of independent firms, you can find a wide variety of proposals, from the following firms: Babel Ediciones, Ediciones del Boulevard, Ediciones de Todos Los Mares, Editorial Comunicarte, Los Ríos Editorial, El Corredor Austral, Raíz de Dos, Recovecos, Escriptum, Cuentos en Boca, Ediciones del Callejón, Editorial Alberoni, Lot 11 Editions, Dinamo Editorial, Editorial el Puente, Potencia, Quo Vadis Ediciones and Editorial Emporio.

Tribute to Córdoba

Friday, May 3 will be Córdoba Day. At 6:30 p.m. a tribute to Leopoldo Lugones. The planned activity is a show called Lugones, his house and the birds of northern Córdoba, 150 years after the birth of the great Argentine writer, of Córdoba origin.

One of the central reasons will be the recent enhancement of Lugones’ birthplace in Villa María de Río Seco, in the north of Córdoba. The president of the Córdoba Culture Agency will refer to the topic with a specially produced video, Raúl Sansica.
