The wait is over, dear readers; the The entire Xiaomi 14 series has officially arrived in Chile together with the renowned German brand Leicato which we also extend a warm welcome to our country.

Xiaomi 14

The base model of this new series comes with a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED display, 1200 x 2670 pixel resolution, 120 Hz, supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and offers a typical brightness of 1000 nits with a maximum of 3000 nits .

Inside, it has a powerful processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 eight cores, operates with Android 14 and the interface HyperOSincludes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and 24-bit/192 kHz Hi-Res audio with Snapdragon Sound.

For photography, it has a 50 MP main sensor with f/1.6 aperture, laser focus and optical stabilization, a 50 MP telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture, optical stabilization and 3.2x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide-angle sensor 50 MP with f/2.2 aperture and a 115˚ field of view.

It has the capacity to record videos in 8K at 24 fps with HDR10+, Dolby Vision and LOG. The front camera offers 32 megapixels and allows 4K recordings at 60 fps.

Additionally, it includes Wi-Fi 7Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, infrared port, USB Type-C, fingerprint reader under the screen and a 4610 mAh battery with 90W fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reversible wireless charging.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra

It is the company’s current flagship, standing out especially for its photographic section, which includes four sensors capable of providing a digital zoom up to 120x.

The first is a sensor 50 MP 1″ with adjustable manual aperture between f/1.6 and f/4.0, laser focus and optical stabilization. It is followed by a 50 MP telephoto lens with f/1.8 aperture, optical stabilization and a 3.2x optical zoom. Next, a 50 MP f/1.8 periscopic sensor with optical stabilization and a up to 5x optical zoom. Finally, a 50 MP f/1.8 ultra-wide-angle sensor offers a 122˚ viewing angle and is complemented by a TOF 3D depth sensor.

In addition to Leica optics, 67 mm optical filters can be used by purchasing the photographic kit. The device can record 8K videos at 30 fps with Dolby Vision and it has a 32 MP front camera.

It has a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate, support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, a typical brightness of 1000 nits and a peak of 3000 nits, protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass.

Internally, it houses the powerful processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core, runs Android 14 with the HyperOS interface, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and 24-bit/192 kHz Hi-Res audio.

Finally, it offers support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, infrared, USB Type-C 3.2 port with DisplayPort, fingerprint reader under the screen and a 5000 mAh battery compatible with 90 W fast charging, 80 W wireless charging. W and 10W wireless reversible charging.

When will the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra be available?

The Xiaomi 14 will be offered in three colors: black, white and jade green. It will have two storage options and will be priced at CLP$1,099,990. Additionally, the first 2,000 units will include a free Explorer Kit.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be available in a single storage variant and exclusively in black. Its price will be CLP$1,499,990and the first 1,000 buyers will receive a photography kit as a gift.

Both models will be available on Xiaomi’s official sales channels from next May 6.

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra will offer four generations of Android operating system updates and five years of security patches. Owners of these devices will be able to enjoy 100GB of Google One cloud storage during a six-month trial period, plus three months of YouTube Premium, which includes ad-free access to YouTube and YouTube Music.
