According to data provided by the National Institute for Seismic Prevention (INPRES), the earthquake reached magnitude of 3.9 and its epicenter was located in La Faldaabout 44 kilometers from the capital of Cordoba, with a depth of 20 kilometers.
The intensity of the tremor was greatest in La Falda, Villa Giardino, Valle Hermoso and Huerta Grande, where some people who were at rest could feel the movement, in addition to observing the oscillation of hanging objects. In cities such as Córdoba, Carlos Paz, Colonia Caroya and Jesús María, the tremor was perceived more lightly, but it was still identified by those who were still.
