With significant participation, training in Cultural Management for Entre Ríos municipalities began

A free training course was launched between the provincial Ministry of Culture and the Faculty of Education Sciences (UNER), based on an agreement promoted by the Legislative Training Institute of the Vice-Government. 120 people from different parts of the province registered.

The Cultural Management Training program seeks to contribute to local governments with tools for developing projects, train in notions and tools of cultural management applied to the public sphere, promote links between public managers of the different communes and municipalities, generating a approach to planning the communication of events, actions and cultural processes.

The majority of members of the Provincial Council of Culture (representatives of the Culture areas of the municipalities and communes), and territorial cultural actors from various sectors, participate in the proposal.

The vice governor, Alicia Aluani; the dean of the FCEDU, Aixa Boeykens; and the Secretary of Culture of Entre Ríos, Fabián Reato, met this Friday at the Rodolfo Walsh Auditorium of the faculty, located in the capital of Entre Ríos, to welcome the attendees. The head of the Legislative Training Institute of the Vice-Government, Ivana Balbi, also participated. At the beginning, the authorities signed a specific agreement between the FCEDU and the Ministry of Culture and then referred to the importance of training.

“For me it is an honor to be here with you at the beginning of this Training program, because culture is fundamental for the development of our society, culture is what unites us and identifies us,” said the vice governor, after which He highlighted the importance of “promoting and developing culture in different areas of our province.” Next, she valued the program because it allows “providing tools to public managers through training and advice, so that they can train and develop in their communities.”

Next, Dean Aixa Boeykens highlighted the opportunity to “be gathered together with people who come from different places in our beloved province and also to work together with the Legislative Training Institute through the Vice-Government, the Ministry of Culture and our University. For his part, the Secretary of Culture, Fabián Reato, valued the participation of the attendees and the effort made to travel from different parts of the province. He pointed out the importance of the training program and the joint work with the Vice-Government and the Faculty of Educational Sciences. “Among Culture officials of the municipalities and communes of the province, the generation of training instances is always considered as a necessity, and that seemed very valuable to me from the beginning because it is the aspiration to be able to do things better and to have the tools to be able to improve living conditions, the conditions in which our communities express themselves, to be able to better reach the makers of Culture in our province,” he said.

The course

The modules of the proposal are structured into themes that cover Cultural Management and the territory, the passage from planning to action, and communication in the field of culture. The calendar anticipates an integrative workshop and a closing conference: Public cultural management: The city as a stage.

The teachers in charge of the thematic units are: Lic. Nicolás Michea; Lic. Lorena Cabrol; Tec. Victoria Ramírez; Dr. Daiana Pérez; Lic. Pablo Mariano Russo; Lic. Aldana Del Mestre; Mg. Román Mayorá; and Lic. Paula Mascías.

The training course has a biweekly modality, with in-person and virtual classes. Concepción del Uruguay will be the date of the next in-person meeting.

Enthusiasm among managers

About 120 people from different parts of the province registered to take the course. On the first day, attendees filled the auditorium and expressed enthusiasm for the beginning, for the possibility of training and exchange of experiences.

“I recently became part of the culture area of ​​the municipality of San Salvador and I am interested in knowing a little about what this type of activities related to management is about. I really liked this first day. Beyond what has been developed, it helps me make contact with other colleagues,” said Leonardo.

For Gustavo de Lucas González “it was a very enriching day” and he considered “that the most fruitful thing is the possibility of exchange where each one’s experiences strengthen us.” He said that he participates after having received the invitation from the Secretary of Culture of the Province.

“I am here motivated by the desire to learn more,” said the Cultural Coordinator of Santa Elena, María Daniela. And she added: “It seemed like a magnificent opportunity to be able to manage in a better way in the territory where I am. It is a very enriching instance because we were able to generate camaraderie and teamwork with other communities and municipalities. I am very grateful to the people who are in charge of this and to the Ministry of Culture.”

Like her colleagues, she also highlighted the possibility of forging links: “Although some of us have been working for years, it is always good to continue training and advancing,” Noemí commented.

“I am interested in strengthening the culture and appropriating knowledge to be able to multiply it among the residents of Sauce de Luna. I also believe that we must support the construction of citizenship and the construction of rights,” stressed another participant, María Rosa.

Javier is from Paraná and together with a friend they started the course. They have a space where they share and replicate information about cultural events and he is excited to be able to participate in the training area that he started this Friday.
