The peaceful march took place in complete calm and tranquility on the occasion of International Labor Day, which began from the monument of ‘El Pibe’ Valderrama and served to support the social reforms presented by the government of President Gustavo Petro Urrego.

The route was along Avenida del Libertador until it culminated in the emblematic Bolívar Park where the different union leaders, representatives of the working class and sympathizers of the alternative movements and parties were able to make their interventions in favor of the pension, labor, and social reforms. educational and health that President Petro presented to the Congress of the Republic for approval.

In Santa Marta a true ‘human river’ of people was seen wearing white outfits, while others carried the Patriotic tricolor and flags of alternative parties.

The crowd filled the surroundings of Bolívar Park where participants carried banners with messages of support for the government of change.
