The Regionalization Plan It is one of the core axes of the new administration of Governor Rolando Figueroa and its objective is to “strengthen and generate joint growth and balanced throughout the province. The plan is in charge of the Ministry of Chief of Staff, with the coordination of the Secretariat of Planning and Institutional Linkage.
The first work meeting was convened by the Vaca Muerta regional delegate, Milton Morales, and gathered mayors of the region and members of the provincial cabinet who formed the technical table that will agree on the priorities for the region. The event took place this morning at the Technological Institute of San Patricio del Chañar.
The opening of the political-territorial table was led by the Chief of Staff Minister, Juan Luis Ousset, who remembered that “The governor of the province began a path in which he has been managing governance based on an agreement with all localities and teamwork, to identify the problems that our province has in a difficult national context, in a context of restrictions.”

He maintained that his work will also demand “start looking for the solutions we need within our corridor, with the dynamics generated by the development of Vaca Muerta, an industry that is overwhelming, that leads us to think, to energize and grow and to have the greatest ingenuity on the part of the mayors to be able to resolve the different situations that arise in the territory.”
For his part, the mayor of San Patricio del Chañar, Gonzalo Núñez thanked the visit of “the ministers and all the mayors of the Vaca Muerta Region like the other mayors who also want to work together andunderstand this consensus policy moving forward.”
