Lewis Morgan leveled the match for the Red Bulls off an Emil Forsberg corner kick in the second half.
Morgan’s goal was his seventh of the season and the 21st MLS goal of his career with New York. The Scot has now scored 28 career goals in MLS play. Morgan has recorded five goals in his last six matches. The winger scored his fifth goal of the season and the 12th goal of his career at Red Bull Arena.
Forsberg’s assist on the Morgan goal was his third of the MLS season. The Swedish International has now tallied two goals and three assists in its last six MLS matches.
“I think we’re playing really good football,” Forsberg said. “It’s just irritating that we don’t get the wins.”
