After a meeting of the Emergency Operations Center of the city of Concordia, it was reported that 121 people have been evacuated, distributed between adults and minors. In addition, items were delivered to people who collaborate with those affected.

How high will the Uruguay River reach?

According to the Hydrology area of ​​Salto Grande, This Wednesday the river is expected to reach a height of 12.20 meters in the Port of Concordia and 12.40 meters in the Port of Saltolocated in the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.

The location went on alert this Monday as a result of the rainfall that caused the river to rise. In this framework, the municipality asked the community to avoid the alert area for security reasons and to not interfere with the preventive measures in progress.
