Works for all ages
The Tucumán theater has proposals for today for a family outing or just for adults. Thinking about the children’s audience, at 17 in the Auditorium of the Virla Cultural Center (May 25, 265) the musical “A magical gift” will be seen, a tribute show to Disney’s film “Encanto” and the Colombian magical culture, by Plató Producciones and directed by Lorena Mazza Danert. Also for boys and girls, at 7 p.m. in Puerto Cultural Libertad (Las Piedras 1,850) La Feliz Comitiva will present “Qué flea bit a Pulga?”, a work with puppets authored, directed and manipulated by Daniel Kily Lobo. For the adult audience, at 9 p.m. at the Simoca Ángel Leiva House of Culture (Belgrano and Miter avenues) the grotesque comedy “Vaya Ramona, wow” (photo) will be presented, written by José Ignacio Serralunga, with performances by Chabela Díaz and Julio Chacana and the direction and staging of Benjamín Tannuré Godward, from the group La Teoría del Gran JA! The work is announced as “a story so tragic that it makes you laugh, in a plot in which Mrs. Monica and her domestic worker Ramona appear: for the first, life passes by; “The second one goes over it.” In the capital, on the occasion of the 30 years of La Sodería, “We are recording”, an autofiction documentary by Lupe Valenzuela, will be presented at the Juan Posse 1.141 room at 8:30 p.m.; while at 9:30 p.m. at the Alberdi Theater in the capital (Crisóstomo Álvarez and Jujuy), the University Theater Foundation will revive “Electra”, the mythical Greek tragedy in a version prepared and directed by Ricardo Salim.

They project “Germany”
In the Espacio Incaa in the Orestes Caviglia room (San Martín 251), tonight at 8 p.m. the film “Alemania” by Argentine director María Zanetti will be screened. The story revolves around Lola, a 16-year-old teenager who is preparing the subjects that she has to recover from high school when the possibility of going to study for a semester in the German country appears. She wants to travel, but her family, absorbed by her older sister’s mental disorder, doesn’t want her to go. The instability and wear and tear in her bond with her family make the adolescent persist with the idea of her and go out to seek new experiences that give her another look at herself and the circumstances that surround her. The cast is made up of Maite Aguilar, Miranda de la Serna, María Ucedo, Walter Jakob, Vicky Peña and Andy Pruss.
The worms
Tribute to pink floyd at the ireland bar
In the series of tribute recitals to great international rock compositions, tonight from 9:30 p.m. and with free admission, the Tucumán band The Worms will perform at the Bar Ireland (Catamarca 380), with their selection of memorable Pink Floyd songs. The repertoire will cover different moments in the trajectory of the British group in its different formations, from its origins in the mid-60s to the latest compositions in the 80s, with main focus on “The Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Wall ”.
