Beijing, April 28.—Cuba and China highlighted the “endearing ties of friendship and cooperation” that today characterize the relations between their respective Communist Parties, published the Cuban ambassador here, Alberto Blanco.

On the other hand, representatives of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) recently participated in the inauguration of the Seminar on Media Cooperation among the world’s political formations, in this capital.
Within the framework of this event, Liudmila Álamo, deputy head of the Ideological Department of that political organization, highlighted the excellent exchange and debate developed at the China Center for the Development of International Communication.
“Issues about advances in the application of innovation as a tool for political communication were addressed,” he wrote in X.
The party leader met here with CCP authorities, including Liu Jianchao, head of the International Liaison Department, and Hu Zhaoming, general director of the Information and Communication Bureau of the International Department.
As commented on their social networks, the parties expressed their willingness to improve interparty cooperation and exchanged about the challenges and opportunities presented by the different political forces in communication work.
Álamo also visited Henan province where he spoke with the secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Luo Yangsheng.
According to official sources, both discussed local political communication strategies aimed at serving the interests of both peoples.
The Communist Parties of China and Cuba maintain a special relationship of friendship that is also evident in the excellent government ties.
Chinese President and General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Xi Jinping, has referred to both countries as “good friends, good companions and good brothers.”
