LOGROÑO, April 28. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The profitability of housing in La Rioja in the first quarter of 2024 stands at 6.4 percent, 1.4 points more than five years ago (5 percent in 2019), according to the study of ‘The profitability of housing in Spain in 2024’, based on the analysis of housing prices for sale and rent in March 2024 by the Fotocasa real estate portal.

“The performance of the housing market remains very strong. Although gross profitability was expected to reach an all-time high this year due to the significant increase in rental prices, we have also seen an increase in purchase prices. Therefore , with both markets on the rise, the profitability of investing in a rental property is balanced and stabilized.

In fact, “the real estate sector continues to be considered the safest asset with the highest yield, above deposits or government bonds, thus maintaining its attractiveness as the main investment option for savers during periods of economic uncertainty. In fact, “The percentage of individual investors who have opted for housing as a refuge of value has doubled, trusting in its reliability and solid recovery in the last year,” explains María Matos, Director of Studies and spokesperson for Fotocasa.
