The most important operation took place yesterday in the rural area of ​​Finca de Mayo, in Cruz Alta. On April 8, a man reported that his vehicle had been stolen, so an investigation was opened by Deputy Commissioner Juan Juárez and Assistant Officer Enzo Coronel, from the La Florida police station, who followed in the footsteps of a certain ” “Porteño.” The investigation led them to the hamlet of Finca de Mayo, where they asked to search two homes linked to the suspect.

Police Chief Joaquín Girvau, in an interview with LA GACETA, indicated that they will go to disrupt all drug sales points they find in the province, regardless of whether drug traffickers try to market from sparsely populated places or from large cities. “We are going to reach all the places where these criminals settle to kill people with the sale of prohibited substances. We are going to put them all in prison and Justice will condemn them without a doubt,” he emphasized.

In one of the houses they seized 1,043 doses of cocaine, weighing a total of 123 grams, as well as two “rocks” of the same substance (between them they weighed 33 grams). In addition, there were 26 bags of marijuana that weighed a total of 36 grams.

Other details that complicated the inhabitant of that home, who ended up apprehended by order of the Prosecutor’s Office specialized in Drug Dealing, was that the doses of cocaine were perfectly distributed and packaged in pieces of glazed paper. In other areas of the house they found scissors, a precision scale and more envelopes of the same paper that they had used to wrap the drugs.

With authorization from the Prosecutor’s Office, in addition to everything mentioned above, the Police seized several bills that totaled $236,600 and six cell phones that were in the home.

In the next few hours, a hearing would be held to monitor the arrest of Luis Ramón Romero (49 years old), charge him and request precautionary measures against him.

The raid was supervised by the head of the Eastern Regional, Carlos Daniel Ruiz, and the head of zone II, Ángel Villagra.

In Alderetes

On Friday at 10:15 p.m., personnel from the Alderetes Motorized Patrol apprehended two young people who were riding a Honda Wave motorcycle on public roads.

The suspects were intercepted on the corner of Rivadavia Avenue and San Martín, in that city. The officers had noticed that one of the crew members was carrying a bag in a suspicious manner, so they made them stop the motorcycle for a search.
