About the 11:00 yesterday morning, the whistles of a taxi horn and the shots of the driver of a motorcycle Suzuki GN 125disturbed the peace and tranquility that was experienced in the avenue 4 #20N-43of the Tasajero neighborhood.

Although the incident was recorded in a matter of seconds, it was enough for more than an hour that there was no more talk about anything else in the neighborhood, since with anxiety the residents remember where they were at the time the hitman attack happened.

“The taxi was honking to give way and let it pass, while the driver of the motorcycle behind shot it several times,” said a witness to the incident.

According to the community, although more than six gunshots were heard, three hit both the taxi driver and the passenger.

Minutes after the hitman attack, the Cúcuta Metropolitan Police (Mecuc) was present at the scene, and as it turned out, the victims were heading towards the Camilo Daza International Airport to buy a flight ticket.

They almost went down to ‘El Rapero’

An altercation between two street dwellers occurred on the 5 o’clock last Friday afternoon, in the 7th avenue and 20th street from the neighborhood Children’s Cutlery. One of them received a stab wound in the chest.

According to the community, the fight occurred due to “a fight of egos” between those involved; apparently, the shouting and insults escalated into an attack.

“They had a heated argument and the aggressor, without weighing him twice, took out the dagger he always carries and stuck it at the other,” said a neighborhood resident.

Upon learning of the situation, the Cúcuta Metropolitan Police (Mecuc) ordered the search for the alleged aggressor, and although his whereabouts are unknown, the authorities are reviewing the sector’s security cameras.

“They are doing patrols around the Alfonso López neighborhoodbecause they have already identified that it is the place where the alleged attacker constantly prowls,” the neighbor added.

The victim is known as ‘The Rapper‘, has been living on the streets for three years. The community commented that she is a person who does not harm anyone, who spends her time singing in the streets.
