Comfamiliar continues to leave its mark through its ‘Tejiendo Esperanzas’ program. On this occasion he held a social day in the San Bernardo de Neiva neighborhood, in which various activities were carried out to benefit the community.

Under the “Weaving Hopes” program, the staff of the Huila Family Compensation Fund and the residents of the San Bernardo neighborhood came together to promote well-being and coexistence through various activities.

From exciting games and contests to jewelry making courses, reading and sports activities, the day offered entertainment and encouraged integration between neighbors of all ages. In addition, park beautification and restoration work was carried out, revitalizing public spaces for the enjoyment of the community.

In the field of health, brigades were carried out with the support of entities such as the ESE ‘Carmen Emilia Ospina’ and the Nueva EPS, offering basic medical care and guidance on disease prevention. The vaccination of dogs and cats, led by the Corhuila University, contributed to the health and well-being of pets and the prevention of diseases.

This initiative is possible thanks to the collaboration of volunteers, companies such as Ciudad Médica, Press Editorial, Nueva EPS, Corhuila, Publiseñal, ESE ‘Carmen Emilia Ospina’, human talent from Comfamiliar Huila and the community, reflecting the commitment of the Caja de Compensation with the progress and well-being of the communities it serves.

Comfamiliar Huila will continue to develop other similar activities throughout the year, reiterating its commitment to being a key ally in the construction of a more just, equitable and supportive society.
