Marcos Castro was 7th in La Pampa and remains among the top 10 of the TC Pista

For the 4th date of Road Tourism in the Province of La Pampa, the Quequense driver, Marcos Castro, brought a good 7th place from a new final of the TC Pista, which keeps him among the main platoon within the championship.

Castro’s Ford in La Pampa

Castro had just won with his Ford in Neuquén and on Saturday he had qualified in 12th place, which is why 7th place in the final in Toay is not bad at all. The race was won by Joaquín Ochoa, with the SAP Team Dodge, who led the final from start to finish and won his first race in the category.

Driver No. 54 made a time of 32:06.795 and left Juan Manuel Tomasello in 2nd place, with an FPA Racing Chevrolet, at a distance of 1.609/1000. The podium was closed by Tomás Abdala, with Ford, at 2,302/1000. In the case of Marcos Castro, he finished 7th with a time of 32.19.965.

The championship table is led by Jeremías Olmedo, driving a Ford, with 156 points. Following behind are two Chevrolets: Hernán Palazzo and Juan Manuel Tomasello. For his part, Castro is in 9th position with 94.5 points.

The next date of the TC Pista will be May 11 and 12 at the Autodromo Termas de Río Hondo – Largo.
