The minimum wage will have a readjustment during July 2024 and it will come with this modification to $500 thousand pesos promised by the government President Gabriel Boric.
It should be noted that the increases have been gradual and the figure agreed for the winter will comply with the amount that was indicated and that add $40 thousand pesos to the current income.
Let us remember that the minimum salary is $460 thousandalthough it will remain that way only huntil July 1date that the authority gave as the deadline to generate the change.

When would the minimum wage rise again?
According to current regulations, it is established that the next increase in the minimum wage must occur during the January 1, 2025in relation to the variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
However, for the moment It is not known how much it will rise accurately, since for this it will be necessary to have knowledge of the variation that is experienced during the months July and December of this 2024.
It is important to mention that If inflation grows, so will it in a certain amount the minimum wage; while if a negative variation, the $500 thousand will remain as a safe number.
