Facundo Mendoza is an agronomist and works as such in the Agricultural Forestry Directorate under the Ministry of Economic Development and Production. It is worth mentioning that he is in charge of the Los Nogales nursery.
The engineer said that they are constantly preparing for field trips where they provide technical advice on all types of crops and always aimed at producers in the various areas that they have to visit, such as: Valle, Yungas, Quebrada and Puna.
Mendoza says that at this time of year the situation is very delicate, “since in these seasons there is a lot of drought in the Puna and floods in the Valley and Yungas but one puts all the energy into being able to provide a solution and/or help the producers”.
In relation to the articulation with new technologies, the agronomist said that “in our sector I do not see it being so productive because it is not something mechanical, new things emerge every day and that is why we must constantly train ourselves.”
Finally, Mendoza said that in his free time he dedicates himself to caring for street animals and helps them with everything regarding their health. He has also been a soccer goalkeeper since his childhood and plays on the Gremio Universitario team in the Jujuy Professional Association.
