In a general assembly, the Association of University Professionals of Public Administration (Apuap) defined a day of protest with a new “noise” for this Friday. Among the reasons is the insufficiency of the salary offer from the provincial Executive.

Unanimously, the professionals grouped in the union led by Nicolás Fernández, decided to maintain the state of alert and mobilization until they corroborate that the commitments assumed by the provincial government are reflected in the April settlement.

In that sense, the general secretary recognized that “in the assembly there was a large participation of colleagues from both capital and interior that has overflowed the room where we have put up for consideration the salary offer for the month of April by the Government and tell how it will be have held the latest hearings with the provincial Executive. Those present listened to the report of the steering committee and after a debate and analysis of what was reported, they have decided to maintain a state of alert and mobilization, understanding that the offer is insufficient and does not respond to the specific demands. of the sector”.

They request hearings

The assembly was also attended by numerous representatives of the professional association “with whom we have been addressing the situation in the health sector and we are carrying out three requests for hearings, one with Governor Sadir, the other with the Health Commission and also with the Ministry to express our needs.

They will also hold a press conference this week with a day and time to be confirmed and, as they announced, they will adhere to the national strike on May 9 and will support the nursing vigil. “This is to let the community know what responses the Executive has not provided,” commented the general secretary, Nicolás Fernández.

Finally, the assembly empowered the board of directors to, if necessary, call for forceful measures in case the current claims and commitments assumed by the provincial Executive are not addressed.
