The latest report published by the Jujuy Road Observatory indicates that during the period from April 22 to 28, one fatality and 70 road accidents were recorded.

The report details that there were a total of 70 road incidents that week, which underlines the urgency of taking effective measures to improve road safety in the region.

Among the figures, it is reported that of the 10,306 vehicles controlled, 212 cases of violations for speeding and 977 for various contraventions were registered, including lack of insurance, lack of technical inspection and driving without a license, among others.

In addition, it is highlighted that 68 people tested positive for alcohol testing, which underlines the need for awareness campaigns about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol.

This statistical report was prepared by the Provincial Road Observatory based on the inspection work carried out by the agents of the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety, as well as the Road Corps, dependent on the Secretariat of Road Safety of Jujuy.
