About mapping

The Directorate of Creative Industries of the Undersecretariat of Culture, belonging to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Children and DGE, announced the carrying out of cultural mapping for the first time in all departments of the province. This pioneering project’s main objective is to identify, make visible and enhance the impact of the creative industries in our region.

The creative cultural industries cover a wide range of sectors: visual arts, design, audiovisuals, publishing, music, video games, fashion, functional creations, cultural tourism and identity gastronomy, among others. Mapping will not only allow us to understand the diversity and richness of these industries, but will also provide key information for the design and implementation of municipal and provincial public policies that promote their sustainable development.

Data tracking will be carried out only through a digital form and the different provincial regions will be addressed consecutively.
