Thanks to the coordinated work of entities, the educational institution and the community, the deficiencies were corrected, allowing classes to return to normal as of this Monday.

Last Wednesday, April 25, the students of the educational institution began a cessation of activities after the difficult conditions of the facilities, since they did not have a water supply, the bathrooms were in poor operating and cleanliness conditions, and the weeds invaded the school.

This situation caused the education and health authorities of the department to go to the institution to verify the situation evidenced by the students, which led to the temporary closure being decreed because the parameters that are measured to guarantee the safety and health of The students did not meet the minimum requirements.

The articulated work led by Governor César Ortiz Zorro, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Acuatodos, the Educational Institution and the community in general, allowed the necessary actions to be carried out to lift the measure.

After an inspection and surveillance visit carried out by the departmental health secretary Tatiana Chávez Duque, to the school facilities in La Yopalosa, it was possible to verify compliance with the critical parameters that caused the suspension of student activities, which has led to the lifting of the health security measure.

The governor reiterated his commitment to the health and education of children, young people and adolescents in the department, ensuring that all necessary measures will continue to be taken to guarantee a safe and conducive environment for the academic development of students.
