A man who was enjoying himself at a spa near Ibagué, drowned this Sunday afternoon.
Tragedy in Las Tinajas
The man who died from immersion on the afternoon of this Sunday, April 28, was identified as Arley Bedoya. in the waters of a spa known as Las Tinajas, located on the road between Ibagué and Rovira. Although a person accompanying him tried to help him, it was not possible due to the strength of the current.

Major Luis Fernando Vélez, director of Civil Defense in Tolimareferred to this fact: “Yesterday, at approximately five in the afternoon in the Las Tinajas puddle sector, kilometer five of the Ibagué – Rovira road, a special situation arose where A male person was bathing in this puddle and from one moment to the next a wave or a whirlpool pulled him to the bottom, causing death by immersion.”.
Likewise, he indicated that once they found out about the emergency “Contact was made with the relatives, we spoke with Mr. Milton in the morning to find out the characteristics of the place”.
