The Tax and Customs Police in the department of La Guajira held a special day dedicated to childhood and adolescence at the Madre Verónica institution, located in the District of Riohacha.

During this event, it was possible to raise awareness and accompany a total of 37 boys and girls, providing them with a space to meet and learn.

The main objective of the initiative was to recognize and highlight the value and importance of boys and girls, who represent the future of our society. Through various recreational, educational and recreational activities, we sought to strengthen emotional well-being and promote an environment of joy and learning in its surroundings.

The authorities highlighted that the smile of a boy or girl is the reflection of the purest feelings of their soul, and it is the responsibility of everyone as a society to care for and protect this priceless treasure.

In that sense, they reaffirmed their commitment to continue working for the well-being and comprehensive development of children and adolescents in La Guajira.

Likewise, they pointed out that the National Police will continue to promote actions and programs aimed at guaranteeing a safe and prosperous future for new generations, in collaboration with institutions and communities committed to the well-being of children and young people.
