A new provision.
“Can I turn here?” many drivers who go down Santiago del Estero street ask the traffic agent when they reach the corners of Muñecas and Junín. The inspector always answers no, it is prohibited, and more than once he must blow the whistle to warn of the infraction.
In a significant number of cases, refusal costs the municipal employee reproaches and even insults. This scene is observed recurrently at those intersections.
With the new system, to circulate in a south-north direction you must use anterior arteries (such as Laprida) or posterior arteries (such as Salta).
Except for the bus lines that run through Santiago and turn in Muñecas or Junín, no vehicle can turn there (ambulances, firefighters and patrol cars are also excepted, all in case of emergency).
