The fatal attack with the teenager occurred last Saturday at night in the Libertadores neighborhood
The teenager who died after being attacked with a sharp weapon in the Libertadores neighborhood of the city of Armenia was identified as Alejandro Gutiérrez Ramírez.
It is worth mentioning that the young man’s body had been entered into the Calarcá morgue as an Unidentified Body, CNI, because he did not carry any document since no one had come forward to recognize him.
It was precisely this Monday afternoon, when officials from the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences were performing the autopsy, that his loved ones arrived to identify him, information that was indeed confirmed by the entity’s experts.
It was learned that the victim was only 16 years old and that next August she would turn 17.

The facts
Alejandro was stabbed by an unknown person on Saturday night, at approximately 7:40 pm, on a public street in block K of the Libertadores neighborhood of the Quindian capital.
Although the minor was quickly helped and taken to the emergency room of the La Sagrada Familia clinic, there, despite the efforts of the doctors who treated him, on Sunday morning, at around 4:20 am he died.
Although agents of the National Police in Quindío who were alerted about the situation promptly went to the neighborhood and after investigation work carried out patrols in surrounding areas, they were unable to locate the aggressor.
The institution reported that they are carrying out the relevant investigations in order to clarify the motives for the crime and also be able to identify and capture the person responsible.
Units from the mobile criminalistics laboratory of the Technical Investigation Corps, CTI, were in charge of the technical inspection of the corpse.
