The case occurred last night, in a rural area of the capital of Tolima. Of the injured, 10 had to be transferred to healthcare centers due to their serious injuries.

A serious accident occurred on Monday night, in the rural area of Ibagué (Tolima), near the El Escobal ranch. A special services bus overturned and at least 27 people were injured, of which 10 suffered serious injuries. They are all workers of a contracting company.

The accident occurred five kilometers inside the aforementioned ranch, so the passengers had to be transported, by different means, to the exit of the private compound, from where they were later transferred to a health center, Blu Radio reported.
“The preliminary information is that the bus was making its journey with the workers in the area and left the road, overturning sideways. The injured were transported to the entrance of the farm by vehicles from the area and from there in ambulances, they carried out the corresponding triage, transferring the people or passengers who had serious injuries to the different healthcare centers, in total, indicated Major Luis Fernando Vélez Soto, director of the Civil Defense in Tolima.
