Enresp undertakes to take the necessary steps to grant a 30 percent discount to commercial energy users (categories G1 and G2) in the departments of San Martín and Orán for one year by establishing a financing regime.
The second point of the minutes establishes a joint request before the federal judicial authorities to address the vulnerable situation of the electrical service in the northern province. “The Chamber expresses its willingness to adhere to and accompany the request for protection that Enresp will formulate for the purposes that the Administrative Company of the Wholesale Electricity Market proceeds to grant priorities for commercial dispatch of the cold reserves located in the area and has a favorable impact on the “reduced outage duration and improved stress profiles.”

At the beginning of March, when the increase in electricity began to hit hard both businesses and private users, Enresp announced that the tariff update provided for in a previous resolution (150/24) was annulled for the period of 120 days, therefore Edesa informs you “that you must bill the service according to the table in force for the period February/24.” That is to say, at that time, the entity stopped the next increases that were planned for March, of 11.84%, and for April, another 11.84%, but ratified the 78% increase granted in February, which had an impact in exorbitant increases that hit hard the pockets of Salta users, both residential and commercial.
For its part, the hotel and gastronomic sector of Salta requested that DNU 70 be declared unconstitutional and that Edesa refrain from applying the increases established in generation and transportation to invoices.
