As Rafael Santo Villar Chico, 25-year-old, the young man shot to death on Wednesday night on Calle 81 and Carrera 22, Los Almendros neighborhood, in the municipality of Soledad, was identified by the Police.
According to the information collected by the authorities, the victim was attacked by hitmen on a motorcycle who shot him repeatedly until he was left lifeless at the scene.

It was learned that Rafael Santo registered an arrest warrant since December 21, 2023, issued by the 17th Municipal Criminal Court with guarantee control functions of Barranquilla, for the crimes of aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possession of weapons of aggravated fire.
According to the investigations of the Prosecutor’s Office, Rafael Santo allegedly participated in the murder of Fernando Carlos Cepeda and Rodelo Rockin events that occurred on June 21, 2023 in Carrera 21 with Cordialidad, San José de Barranquilla neighborhood.
In addition, the authorities established that he was under house arrest for trafficking and possession of narcotics, and illegal possession of weapons.
