The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will inform the Israeli embassy in Colombia of the scope of the measure announced by the President. Colombian diplomatic officials will return to our country. The Foreign Ministry recalled the Colombia’s position regarding the war in the Middle East.
“The Government of Colombia has repeatedly and clearly expressed its position on the conflict between Israel and Palestine and specifically on the war that has been waged in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. Colombia has not stopped insisting, time and again, on the need to achieve a ceasefire, the immediate release of the hostages, as well as the regular entry and the necessary quantities of humanitarian aid for the population of Gaza. “The country has firmly supported all actions and efforts to alleviate the humanitarian crisis.”
