They seek to reduce crimes in the La Macarena commune

The Community Police, in coordination with the community action boards of the La Macarena and CDI del Carmen neighborhoods, carried out the “Cycle in your neighborhood” activity, warning about the dangers of the consumption of psychoactive substances and micro-trafficking.

In the last few hours, the uniformed officers arrived at the El Carmen neighborhood and raised awareness among boys, girls, adolescents and the community in general. The objective is to promote awareness, prevention and the adoption of safety measures to prevent infants from being immersed in the consumption of psychoactive substances.

Members of the National Police launched the “Cycle in your neighborhood” campaign, an activity focused on encouraging minors to take advantage of their free time by practicing sports activities. The idea is to educate and sensitize minors to reject all types of addictive substances or elements from their lives.

The uniformed men held dynamic talks and recreational recreational activities that encouraged minors to appropriate personal values and motivate love for life and integral development as people. They referred to the harm that these substances bring to human health, which in the worst cases cause cancer, strokes and heart deficiencies.

The Manizales Metropolitan Police command invites the community to report the trafficking of psychoactive substances through the attention and emergency line 123.
