The governments of Argentina and Ecuador moved forward today in taking measures aimed at achieving a greater air connectivity between both countriesratifying the policy of “Open skies” raised by the president of the Nation, Javier Milei.

Emulating the agreement signed a few days ago with Chile, the Secretary of Transportation of the Nation, Franco Mogettamet today with the Undersecretary of Air Transportation of Ecuador, Pablo Galindoto sign a memorandum of understanding that will develop new air markets between both countries, reported from the Secretary of Transportation of the Nation, through a statement.

The meeting had the participation of important companies in the sector and authorities from international organizations, and the measures are adopted with the objective of continuing to advance in actions that enhance the sector and regional connectivity, indicates the document released today.

As happened a week ago with Chile, the document signed today aims discuss matters of mutual interest in the field of air serviceswith immediate and definitive effects and through planning and coordination of joint strategies to expand air transport between both countries.

Present during the meeting were: the ambassador of Ecuador in Argentina, Lotty Farah Andrade Abdo; the ambassador of the Argentine Republic in Ecuador, Eduardo Alejandro Acevedo Díaz; the Undersecretary of Air Transportation, Hernn Gmez; the National Administrator of Civil Aviation, Gustavo Marn; and the director of Aeronautical Standards and International Agreements of ANAC, Diego Sebastin Idiart.
