The postgraduate, updating and training course called “Political and governmental communication: contributions for its understanding and planning”, organized by the Postgraduate Secretariat of the Faculty of Humanities of the National University of Jujuy, will begin on June 13.

It will have a face-to-face modality, it will take place in six meetings and registration is open. The dictation will be given by the government communication specialist, Cecilia Salto.

The teacher said that “although the course can be accredited as a postgraduate degree, it is also designed for people who are in government spaces and need to strengthen their training on the subject.” In this context, she mentioned members of the communication and press teams of local, provincial and national governments of the three branches of government; officials; communication advisors; people who work in the public management of government institutions, and members of civil society institutions. “We also hope that communication and journalism degree students will enroll,” said Salto.

The theoretical and practical course is part of the seventh cycle of postgraduate academic activities 2024 organized by Humanities.

Although the teaching will be in person, emphasis may be placed on case studies, theoretical development and also practical instances.

It will take place on June 13 and 14, from 6 to 9 p.m.; the 15th, from 9 to 12; on the 27th and 28th, from 6 to 9 p.m.; and on the 29th, from 9 to 12.

Cecilia Salto is an advisor in political and government communication for various entities. Currently, she leads the Communication and Press Area of ​​the Housing and Urban Planning Institute of Jujuy; She is a professor at the National University of Jujuy and at the Blas Pascal University. Previously, she held the position of Secretary of Communication and Open Government of Jujuy (2017-2019) and has collaborated in technical teams of provincial and municipal governments. She has a degree in Social Communication, a specialist in Education and New Technologies (Flacso), and a master’s degree in Contemporary Communication Problems.
