There will be no banks on Thursday in Tucumán due to the force measure

The Banking Association considered that the force measure will have a very high level of compliance both in Tucumán and throughout the country.

The Tucumán Section of the Banking Association confirmed this morning its full support for the general strike ordered by the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), scheduled for next Thursday.

“From our union organization we consider that if the Senate of the Nation approves the project of the Bases Law, which last week obtained half a sanction in the Chamber of Deputies, the working class as a whole will experience a very serious setback in terms of rights. It should be noted that never before has any national government made such strange decisions that constitute such a forceful threat to our labor rights and achievements,” the union said in a statement that bears the signatures of the general secretary of the Tucumán Section, Cecilia Sanchez Blasand the secretary of the national administration, Carlos Cisneros.

In the document, they expressed their concern about the Base Law: “We understand that this law is designed not only to harm workers, but to benefit a large group of unscrupulous businessmen who have amassed fortunes thanks to the systematic withholding of contributions. to its employees and the evasion of their provisional contributions”.

“From La Bancaria Tucumán we ratify our total adherence to the general strike ordered by the CGT, which we understand will have a very high level of compliance both in Tucumán and throughout the country,” the statement concluded.
