Operation “Health goes to School” in Lules

Among the actions carried out by the Ministry of Public Health, led by Dr. Luis Medina Ruiz, within the framework of the “Health goes to School” plan, school medical records continue to be carried out, also in the interior of the province.

The “Health goes to School” program provides that the trailer visits the town of Lules, in front of the main square, from Monday, May 6 to 10, from 2 to 5 p.m. The goal is for all children and adolescents to begin classes with a complete annual checkup.

The initiative, which continues to tour schools throughout the provincial territory with children in class, began to be outlined last year, after a joint meeting of the ministers of both portfolios, Luis Medina Ruiz for health and Susana Montaldo by Education, whose purpose is to fill out school medical records, in addition to detecting any pathology that has not been previously diagnosed in minors and adolescents.

The strategy began to be implemented in schools in the interior of the province, especially in remote and high mountain communities. Since the beginning of classes, the attention of professionals is intensified in schools according to the schedule agreed upon by both ministries.
