With great attendance of the public, the Sampedrina round was held in the town of Fortalecillas, where a total of five candidates participated, four of them for the Popular Reign of Bambuco and one more for Heirs of Tradition.
Culture and traditions once again took over the attendees who, to the rhythm of the Sanjuanero Huilense, enjoyed the eighth Sampedrina round, in which the representatives of this district were selected for the Popular Reign of Bambuco and Heirs of Tradition in version 63 of the Bambuco Festival in San Juan and San Pedro.
Dances, folk music, interpretation of the Sanjuanero Huilense and musical groups, made the community dance who lived an afternoon full of joy and traditions.

These people, who made up the qualifying jury, had the opportunity to evaluate every detail of the candidates who participated in the round. The jury, after the meticulous task, named Paula Andrea Salas Villareal, from the La Mojarra village, and Zharick Dayana Cumbe Oviedo, from the El Venado village, as the winners to represent the township of Fortalecillas in the Popular Reign of Bambuco.
For her part, the girl who will lead the band through the district for Heirs of Tradition is Sarith Naomy Maya Zuñiga, from the Cola de Pato neighborhood.
“With two participants to the Popular Reign and a representative to Heirs of Tradition, we have just finished the round in the town of Fortalecillas. Always celebrate the excellent behavior of the community and the participation of all the cultural managers, dance, folkloric and musical groups that have been accompanying us. From Fortalecillas we also develop the Peasant Music Meeting, which will finally close in the last round on the 17th.
