Students and professors from the University of Sancti Spíritus José Martí (UNISS) raised their voices this Monday in a solidarity rally for the Palestinian people and the American students repressed for demonstrating against the Israeli genocide.

Also attending the meeting were Duniesky Pérez Pérez, member of the Municipal Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba in the main municipality; Abran Sánchez González, first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Union of Young Communists; Edelvy Bravo Amarante, rector of UNISS and other directors of the institution.

The denunciation of the students of the house of higher studies was forceful, as they joined the just proclamation of the Cuban university community and condemned the shameful events that occurred against young people from several universities in the United States.

Adriana Alfonso Martín, a member of the Martiano Youth Movement, condemned the massacre and raised her voice in favor of peace for the Palestinians, who suffer the impact of bombs and injustice.

The rally is an initiative of the University Student Federation with the aim of joining forces in order to contribute to the fight that is carried out in various parts of the world to demand an end to the events that take place in Gaza and threaten life. of an entire town.
