The Confederation of Education Workers of the Argentine Republic (CTERA) announced its accession to the national strike organized by the CGT for this Monday. Unter also confirmed his support against the Base Law; and there will be no classes in schools in Río Negro.
The Rio Negro teaching union confirmed that it will comply with the actions called by CTERA for this Thursday to demand “decent wages and employment with labor rights.”
Unter listed a series of claims against the government of Javier Milei, among which the following points stand out:
-National Teaching Parity
-Educational financing
-Payment of the FONID NOW!
-Emergency increase in pensions
-NO to Income Tax
-Against the DNU and the Bases Law
-Against high rates
-Against adjustment and layoffs
-In defense of national sovereignty
In this way, it will be added to the claims of CTERA that will be aligned with the CGT that decided to convene this second general strike for Thursday, a measure of force that was taken less than a day after being received at the Casa Rosada by national officials.
Pablo Moyano stated days ago that he will not meet “with any governor of Together for Change” and assured that “The 33 Peronist senators are going to vote against the Bases Law” and that “we must go look for those who do not belong to Unión por la Patria.”
