The unhealthiness and bad odors keep the residents of 40th Street and 12C Street in the Divino Niño neighborhood, in Commune 7, in the city of Riohacha, worried and affected, as they say that an abandoned lot has become a new dump. of satellite garbage where the most affected is the community.
According to the complaint from the inhabitants of this sector of the neighborhood, they state that they are tired of the bad smells, people are going to throw away all types of waste, even dead animals, generating strong pollution that has caused diseases and infections, especially in the children and adults.
The residents of the neighborhood call on the competent authorities to take the necessary measures to counteract this situation, as well as on the owners of the lot to attend to it and prevent this from continuing to occur, “we are tired of this situation, we ask that you provide pay attention to the call we make,” said a neighbor from the Divino Niño neighborhood.
Likewise, the residents of the neighborhood pointed out that because there is no lighting, they are at the mercy of the crime that has plagued them, “in this sector we lack public lighting, which allows robberies to occur, insecurity is terrible in the nights,” said another neighborhood resident.
They hope that the political-administrative authorities will be present and take the necessary measures so that these situations that affect security and citizen coexistence do not continue to occur and that there is a better environment for the inhabitants of that sector of the Divino Niño neighborhood.
