With the aim of linking all tourism actors in the department, so that the sector is strengthened and serves as a showcase to promote the tourist offers that are available in the different municipalities, the First Regional Meeting will be held tomorrow, May 8, in Neiva. of Tourism, at the Huila e facilities, Business Center of the chamber entity.
Discussions, networking and business offers through a commercial exhibition, will be some of the activities planned within the activity that will be carried out in alliance with the National Police, the Sena, the Government of Huila, the Mayor’s Office of Neiva, Cotelco, Fenalco and of course, the Huila Chamber of Commerce.
“We have a very busy agenda. We are going to have some conferences with the Swiss Cooperation on the entire topic of destination management and community tourism; With Procolombia we are going to hold a conference on international tourism promotion, a chaining wheel and a commercial exhibition so that all the destinations of the department of Huila can be made visible,” said Jhon Chávarro, Coordinator of Strategic Sectors of the Chamber of Commerce of the Huila.
In addition, a barista show will be held by the Sena, thus promoting Huila’s leadership in coffee.
This First Tourism Meeting also seeks to generate training spaces so that tourism providers complement each other and have new knowledge to continue promoting Huila as a tourist destination at a national and international level.
The event will take place from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and admission is free.
