New Delhi: A murder video from Jafrabad has surfaced allegedly showing a witness in another murder case being repeatedly stabbed by a group of four boys. Police have apprehended them. They claimed the man, identified as Nazir, had threatened them a few days ago, leading to the killing. Nazir, a resident of northeast Delhi’s Chauhan Bangar, was a witness to the murder of his brother Amir and investigators are also probing if he was killed to prevent him from testifying in court. Amir was allegedly murdered by the gang of Almas alias Allu, who is linked to gangstger Chhenu Pehelwan in northeast Delhi. The video shows one of the four boys repeatedly stabbing Nazir who was lying on the ground near Mangla Hospital Wali Gali in Chauhan Bangar around 6.59pm on Sunday. Even when he managed to sit up, the assailant kept stabbing him. A woman was seen passing by the spot, approximately 250 meters from Nazir’s house. Later, the accused fled the scene, leaving the man in a pool of blood. Local residents then came to check on Nazir, who died on the spot. Nazir, also known as Nanhe, was a known history-sheeter involved in several criminal cases. He was traveling on his scooter when he was attacked by the boys wielding knives. “He had multiple stab wounds on his forehead, neck and abdomen,” an officer said. A murder case under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code was registered.
