Extraordinary sessions begin this Tuesday in the Council to explain the District Development Plan

In the first session of extras, Councilor Enrique González proposed the attendance of the Secretary of District Planning Patricia Caicedo Lafaurie at the Council premises for next Tuesday, May 7 starting at 7:30 and explained in broad strokes to the Corporation and the details, details and sections of the ‘500+ Development Plan’ (2024 – 2027).

“The Development Plan is worth more than 7 billion pesos. There are many expectations in the city, therefore what is wanted with the approval of the document is that there be a true transformation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Santa Marta,” said José Mozo, president of the District Council.

Mozo also recognized that the district is in default of solving the water and sewage problem, as well as addressing issues such as education, security, mobility, employment, among others, which are included in the Development Plan.

The period of Extraordinary Sessions will extend throughout the month of May where the respective debates and socializations on the roadmap of the Mayor’s Office of Santa Marta will be carried out. The Samaria community will be able to watch the council sessions ‘live’ or delayed on the corporation’s official Facebook page.
