Chapter I
Scope and objectives
Article 1°.- This law regulates the organization and operation of the “Regime of designated professors.”

Chapter II Formation of positions
Art. 4o.- Teachers will be appointed, within the framework of this law, in one of the positions that are

Art. 5o.– Teachers designated by positions will have obligations in accordance with the subjects of the
study plan and extra class obligations. Extra-class tasks were considered activities that students

Art. 8o.– The Ministry of Education establishes the new functional plant of the establishments

Art. 9.- The positions must be formed, with teaching hours and extra class hours, as follows:
Full Time: minimum of 24 hours of class and up to 12 hours of extra class, totaling 36 hours

Part-time position No 2: minimum of 16 hours of teaching and up to 8 hours of extra class, totaling 24

Part-time position No. 3: minimum of 12 hours of teaching and up to 6 hours of extra class, totaling 18
weekly hours;
Part-time position No. 4: minimum of 6 hours of teaching and up to 6 hours of extra class, totaling 12

Chapter III Admission and appointments
Art. 15.– For the purposes of ensuring the continuity of educational services, the positions may be

Art. 17.- For the purposes of complying with the provisions of this law, the Classification Boards
of the different mid-level areas must prepare the lists of candidates for interim positions and
substitutions indicating the incorporation of the Regime in the different institutions.
Art. 18.- The appointments for interim positions and replacements of professors who aspire to positions are

Chapter IV
Functional organic plants and institutional organization
Art. 19.– For the purposes of greater organization and to contribute to the institutional task, the Council

training actions for teachers, managers and supervisors, to meet specific needs

Art. 21.- The incorporation of the Regime in the different educational establishments must be carried out with
a total of extra-class hours that may not be less than 15% of the total teaching hours that

Art. 25.- The Ministry of Education of the City of Buenos Aires will establish the gradual plan of
application of this law for all secondary education establishments.
Art. 26.- The Ministry of Education formulates the Pedagogical Guidelines to guide the
educational institutions, to which the “Teaching Regime of Professor designated by position” is incorporated

Art. 27.- The Ministry of Education must present a report every six months to the Education Commission.

Art. 28.– The Executive Branch must regulate this law within a period of no more than 120 days from its date of publication.
