The governor of Casanare, César Ortiz Zorro, installed this Monday, May 6, the period of extraordinary sessions in the Departmental Assembly, which will last until May 31, during which time the detailed study of the Departmental Development Plan will be addressed ” Opportunities for Casanare 2024 – 2027″.
“Today I want to inform you that, at each table installed in the 19 municipalities, we managed to listen to the community concerned about solving their problems with grounded proposals, in addition they clearly communicated their vision of a sustainable future, dear Representatives, 1,609 initiatives were compiled and projects,” said the president.
The Development Plan is an extensive document made up of 233 pages, accompanied by 4 annexed documents that include the Multi-year Investment Plan, the Departmental Agricultural Extension Plan, the Territorial Health Plan and the Childhood and Adolescence Diagnosis.
This document has been built taking as input the initiatives and projects of more than 9,400 Casanareños who participated in its construction phase. As a result, 295 product goals distributed across 4 strategic axes have been prioritized.
During the formulation phase, the active participation of each of the 19 municipalities of Casanare was guaranteed, providing a space for all citizens to contribute their initiatives and projects for their most felt needs in their respective territories.
To ensure representativeness and citizen participation, 298 technical tables were installed in the nineteen municipalities of the Department, representing different population groups. At these tables, a total of 9,450 people formulated a total of 10,596 proposals, with 1,541 proposals being prioritized for the construction of the Development Plan. In addition, a virtual link was enabled where any citizen could enter and express their initiative, receiving a total of 391 responses.
“Casanareños can expect that they are represented there in this document. We took into account the entire targeted population, the adult population, childhood and adolescence, the elderly, LGTBIQ+, indigenous people, NARP; It is a document that has absolutely all the initiatives that the population agreed upon and that also generates equity in public investment,” said the director of the Administrative Department of Planning, Alfonso Cárdenas.
The Departmental Development Plan aims to reflect the real needs and aspirations of the Casanareño population, thus promoting comprehensive and sustainable development for the entire region.
“I pray that God blesses us all for the good fulfillment of all the goals of the departmental Development Plan, Opportunities for Casanare, which allows us a promising, inclusive and prosperous future for our department and for Colombia,” Ortiz Zorro concluded by saying.
