Thief started crying after being captured after his first robbery

A few days ago, the Santa Marta Metropolitan Police confirmed the capture of four people in flagrante delicto who had assaulted a municipal bus that was covering a route to the city of Barranquilla. The arrest was achieved thanks to complaints from citizens and the reaction of the Surveillance Patrol.

Through X, the authorities shared the detention of the subjects. One of them, approximately 24 years old, drew attention to his immediate reaction of regret: he started crying. According to local media, it would be the young man’s first robbery.

The victims of a public service bus were surprised by a group of criminals who got on the vehicle and intimidated them with a firearm to strip them of their belongings. Thanks to the call from those affected, the authorities quickly found the whereabouts of those identified.

The capture took place in the Los Cardonales area, in Gaira, where they were hiding in a residence. During the procedure, their revolver was seized and were transferred to the reaction unit of the Prosecutor’s Office, according to the media ‘Nuevo Día’.
