In a new joint meeting, the government made a salary offer that increases the percentages for April, reaching 5% (with retroactivity), May 6% and June 7%. The proposal contains a semiannual review clause that would take place in July, once the June inflation index is known, and plans to modify the calculation base based on July earnings. Our union will call school and sectional assemblies for consideration ahead of the Congress to be held on May 10.
In the morning hours of this Tuesday, a new wage parity meeting was held at the Ministry of Labor of the province. The same was attended by the joint members of AGMER Pagani, Delaloye, Zampedri and Crettaz, along with the Union Member for AGMER in the CGE, Susana Cogno. Representatives of AMET, UDA and SADOP were also present. The president of the CGE, political members and legal advisors of the government were part of the government.
In the instance, the government presented a proposal consisting of increasing 2% over the 3% already granted with respect to April salaries, reaching 5% (with retroactivity), May salaries 6% and 7% for June salaries. The proposal contains a semiannual review clause to be finalized in July once the June inflation rate is known. In addition, it plans to modify the calculation base starting in July.
As will be remembered, by resolution of its last congress, our union raised the demand for a proposal that:
» Cover the first half of the year and ensure percentages of monthly increases for April, May and June.
» Contain a guarantee clause that, once the accumulated inflation as of June is known, the difference between the accumulated inflation and the salary guideline for the first semester is automatically paid as a floor.
» That, in addition, update the calculation base on which the increase percentages are established.
Faced with what is offered by the government, our union will call school assemblies and in its Sections to put it up for consideration, in view of the Congress to be held on May 10 in Federal.
