The department of Huila has a delinquent portfolio of more than 26 billion pesos for traffic fines from 2016 to date; This was indicated by the director of the Transportation and Transit Institute; Carlos Alfredo Mosquera Cortes.
At the moment, account crossings are being carried out with important actors such as banks and the DIAN in order to recover those monies that are currently in non-payment by the offenders.
“Progress is being made in the coercive collection of this portfolio. From the department of Huila we have a proposal that allows default interest on these debts to be forgiven, to make them attractive and for debtors to clean up these commitments.“said the director.
At this time the entity has payment agreements, however, there are no discounts, it is expected that in the next few days the good news can be announced, which can be done from the Huila region to the situation.
