(ADN).- Senator Martín Doñate (Unión por la Patria) once again criticized the Bases Law promoted by Javier Milei’s government. He confirmed that he will vote against and questioned whether the text approved in the Deputies had arrived in the Upper House modified. Furthermore, he indicated that in 2019 Peronism competed with JSRN, consequently he asserted that they represent different political projects.
Doñate recalled that “whenever they sought to sanction measures against the great majorities, Congress had to meet behind bars, with its back to the people,” and assured: “we are kneeling before the Buenos Aires central power, self-serving, foreignizing, anti-rights.”
The senator spoke with several radio stations in the province about the treatment of the Law that already has half the approval of Deputies, and began to roll in the Senate committees.
“The basic law destroys the development possibilities of the province, and a clear position must be established, I will never vote so that nine out of ten Rio Negro women cannot retire because they increase the retirement age or because they remove the moratorium; or to eliminate the labor rights that are established in the National Constitution,” she asserted.
He added that “the Bases Law and the current DNU send SMEs into bankruptcy by freeing imports, give free rein to the high rates that affect users and Rio Negro businesses, and enable foreign investments to have the freedom to obtain the resources.” Rio Negro, energy, hydrocarbons and can take them abroad without leaving a peso in the country.”

The senator pointed out that his generation “has the responsibility of offering an alternative for the future to protect what is ours, protect our SMEs, our grandparents, our kids. Generate more dignified living conditions. Facing the challenges of renegotiating the illegal and illegitimate foreign debt that establishes conditions for the development of our country is a generational responsibility that we must assume. New actors must appear, new voices with that matter.”
