The National Police carried out a successful control and prevention operation in the municipality of Guarne, culminating in the capture of an individual for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics, in accordance with Article 376 of the Colombian Penal Code.
The incident occurred in the Lleras de Guarne Park.
During a search and control of people in the aforementioned area, the agents approached the individual in question.
Upon inspection, it was discovered that he was carrying a white bag containing 23 zip-lock bags.
Upon examining the contents, a bag with cocaine hydrochloride was found.
After the discovery, the individual was informed of his rights as a detainee, and he was handed over to the competent authority to begin the corresponding judicial process.

In a Police action carried out in the urban area of Armenia, Mantequilla.
National Police units arrested two women, aged 18 and 26, for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics.
The women were arrested in flagrante delicto while traveling through the urban area, carrying with them 20 grams of marijuana, 35 grams of cocaine hydrochloride and 40 grams of bazooka.
The detainees were placed in the custody of the Medellín Sectional Prosecutor’s Office 202 to continue with the corresponding legal process.
The National Police calls on citizens to collaborate with the authorities by reporting any criminal activity related to drug trafficking.
