The block of deputies of Más Para Entre Ríos received this Tuesday leaders of the union of workers of the Uranga Silvestre Begnis Subfluvial Tunnel, who requested their collaboration to defend the labor source and the social purpose of the organization’s complex. The general secretary of the union, Cecilia Álvarez, and Leonardo Farias participated in the meeting with the legislators.

At the meeting, the Justicialist deputies expressed their concern about recent decisions by the administration of the interprovincial entity that end up affecting the service provided and consequently the users.

The workers of the interprovincial entity also warned about the statements of the representative for Entre Ríos in the organization explaining the decision to concession the dining room of the social complex, distorting the objective of its creation.

In that sense, there was discussion about the need to guarantee both the services of the entity and the nature and objective of the social complex, which was created with a specific purpose at the beginning of the 70’s on the premises of the old workshop.

Likewise, Justicialist legislators warned that the situation revealed by the union leaders about the presence, this Tuesday, of plainclothes police personnel in the tunnel facilities, in the hours before a symbolic hug called by the union, was to take place was worrying.
